Milan with Kids: The Italian City We Didn't Expect to Love So Much
There are cities you visit because they're on your bucket list. And then there are cities that completely surprise you. For us, Milan was definitely the second. Before we booked our trip, we pictured a city of designer shops, fashionable Italians and busy business districts. It sounded fun for a weekend, but we weren't convinced it would be the perfect destination for a family city break. How wrong we were. Milan welcomed us with grand piazzas, beautiful architecture, streets that seemed to invite you to wander without a plan and, quite honestly, some of the best food we've ever eaten in Italy.

A Magical Day in Asia’s Most Compact Disney Park
If you’re traveling to Hong Kong with kids, there’s one place that will almost certainly end up at the top of your itinerary: Hong Kong Disneyland. And honestly? It’s not just for kids. Tucked away on lush green Lantau Island, this Disney park feels like a little world of its own. Compared to the huge Disney parks in the US, Hong Kong Disneyland is smaller, calmer and surprisingly easy to explore in one day — which makes it perfect for families. Looking for a destination where futuristic skyscrapers meet colourful street markets, cable cars glide over jungle-covered mountains, and you can eat some of the best food in the world? Welcome to Hong Kong. This vibrant city is one of the most exciting places to visit in Asia — and surprisingly very family-friendly. One moment you’re standing between some of the tallest buildings on earth, the next you’re riding a ferry across the harbor, hiking in green mountains or visiting a giant Buddha statue. Even better: Hong Kong is incredibly easy to explore. English is widely spoken, public transport is fantastic, and Western apps like Google, Instagram and WhatsApp work perfectly here. In this Travelicious guide, we’ll share the best things to do in Hong Kong, tips for getting around, and why this city is such a great destination for families.
FIND YOUR PACE IN ABU DHABI
Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates, is a city of contrasts. Sparkling skyscrapers rise from the desert landscape, housing world-class museums and luxury hotels. Historic mosques and traditional souks offer a glimpse into Emirati culture. Thrill-seekers can tackle the world's fastest rollercoaster, while culture buffs can wander through the Louvre Abu Dhabi's vast collection. Whether you crave desert adventures, luxurious indulgence, or cultural immersion, Abu Dhabi offers something for every traveler.
DISNEY ORLANDO MAGIC
As a family we love rides and at Magic Kingdom we really enjoyed the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Splashmountain and the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. The last attraction generally has long queues. So a fast pass is preferable. In addition, there are a number of performances such as Monsters Inc Laugh Floor and Mickeys PhilharMagic that you should definitely see once and then you don't have to go there again. For small children there are also a number of (fair) attractions such as Dumbo The Flying Elephant, Mad Tea Party, Astro Orbiter and The Magic Carpet of Alladin, which often have a shorter queue and are a great ride. Not spectacular, but just nice. This also applies to driving a car at Tomorrowland Speedland.
