Instead, you’ll find quiet beaches, friendly locals, green landscapes, traditional fishing villages, tropical forests and incredible views of the limestone cliffs rising from the sea.
During our Thailand trip, Koh Yao Noi became one of those places we didn’t want to leave. We stayed at Coastal Escape Koh Yao Noi, explored the island by scooter and spent an unforgettable day cruising through Phang Nga Bay by longtail boat, visiting beautiful islands like Hong Island and Koh Lao Bile.

The best thing about Koh Yao Noi?
There is no pressure.
This is not an island where you need a long checklist of attractions. The magic is in the small moments: driving through green landscapes, finding a quiet beach, eating fresh Thai food by the sea and watching the sun slowly disappear behind the limestone cliffs.

One of our favorite ways to discover Koh Yao Noi was by scooter.
The island is quiet, the roads are easy to navigate and every corner reveals another beautiful view.

Our Favorite Experience: Island Hopping by Longtail Boat
One of the highlights of our stay on Koh Yao Noi was exploring the surrounding islands by traditional longtail boat.
We arranged our trip locally and spent an amazing day cruising through the waters of Phang Nga Bay.
From the moment we left the island, the scenery was breathtaking. Towering limestone cliffs rose from the turquoise water, small green islands appeared around every corner and the whole experience felt like stepping into a postcard.

Another beautiful stop during our boat adventure was Koh Lao Bile.
Compared to some of Thailand’s famous islands, this place felt wonderfully untouched.
We loved the peaceful atmosphere, the beautiful scenery and the feeling that we had discovered a little piece of paradise.

If you like a little adventure, rent a kayak from Pasai Beach and paddle to Koh Nok.
The journey takes around 45 minutes and offers incredible views of the surrounding islands.
Once there, you can climb to the viewpoint for one of the best panoramas in the area.
Bring good shoes — the climb is steep, but the view is absolutely worth it.
The Most Beautiful Beaches on Koh Yao Noi
Koh Yao Noi has many beautiful beaches, but remember one important thing:

A beach that looks perfect at high tide can look completely different when the water disappears.
