Narrow cobblestone streets wind past colourful Ottoman houses covered in flowers, boutique hotels, little cafés and souvenir shops. Every corner feels like a postcard.
Kids love exploring the tiny alleys while parents will enjoy stopping for Turkish coffee or fresh lemonade in one of the peaceful courtyards.

The historic marina is one of our favourite places in the city.
Fishing boats, luxury yachts and traditional wooden pirate ships all share the same harbour, creating a lively atmosphere.
Enjoy an ice cream while watching the boats come and go, or book a short boat trip along the cliffs. It’s especially magical during sunset.
Konyaaltı Beach
One of the nicest things about Antalya is that you don’t have to choose between city and beach. Konyaaltı Beach stretches for kilometres and is only minutes from the city centre.

Visit Düden Waterfalls
One of Antalya’s most famous attractions is the spectacular Düden Waterfalls.
There are actually two different waterfalls to visit. The Upper Düden Waterfalls are hidden inside a lush green park where children can walk behind the waterfall itself. The Lower Düden Waterfalls are even more dramatic, crashing directly into the Mediterranean Sea from high cliffs.
This is one of the most photographed spots in Antalya—and for good reason.

Take the cable car up Tünektepe Mountain.
In just a few minutes you’ll be rewarded with panoramic views over the coastline, mountains and city.
It’s a fun activity for kids and one of the best photo spots in Antalya.

History lovers will have plenty to discover.
Antalya itself is filled with Roman remains, but just outside the city you’ll find incredible archaeological sites including:
- Perge
- Aspendos
- Termessos
These make fantastic half-day trips and are surprisingly interesting for children thanks to the impressive theatres and ancient ruins.

Should You Stay in Antalya or an All-Inclusive Resort?
This really depends on the type of holiday you’re looking for.
If you enjoy discovering local restaurants, exploring historic streets, visiting markets and mixing beach time with sightseeing, staying in Antalya city is the perfect choice.
If your dream holiday is spending all day by the pool while the kids enjoy water slides and entertainment, you’ll find plenty of excellent all-inclusive resorts too. Most of these are located outside the city centre in areas such as Lara Beach, Belek or Kemer, making them ideal for a relaxing resort holiday.
A great option is to combine the best of both worlds: spend a few days exploring Antalya before ending your trip at a family-friendly resort.
